Come and play West Side Story and Gershwin!
Sunday 17th June, 11.30am – 5pm in the magnificent Royal Exchange Theatre building in central Manchester.
After the hugely popular success in St James’s Park last year, you can now look forward to an entirely new BDRS playday, which will be in the public area at the magnificent Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, on SUNDAY 17th JUNE, between 11.30am-5pm. All players of any age or playing level are welcome! (Under-16s need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
We will be celebrating the anniversaries of Leonard Bernstein (playing tunes from West Side Story), George Gershwin and Gounod (the Alfred Hitchcock TV series theme), all fantastic music! All will be rehearsed on the day, easier parts available for less experienced players.
You can travel by train from London and Birmingham – the times work, so make it a day out!
