Information: Obsidian Baroque (including Baroque oboist Hannah Blumsohn) celebrate the remarkable women of Baroque music. Featuring works by Anna Bon, Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Isabella Leonarda, and others, they will combine live performance with exploration of the lives of these women in a male-dominated musical world. Oboe highlights include the Madam Laschanzky oboe concerto and a new commission by Molly Arnuk featuring the oboe da caccia. Concerts supported by Continuo Foundation. We're especially keen to introduce young people to Baroque music and to these overlooked women, so under-18 tickets are free.
