BDRS 2025 Honorary Memberships
The British Double Reed Society is delighted to announce the appointment of four new Honorary Members in recognition of their outstanding service and exceptional contributions to the double reed community. This year we are proud to honour June Emerson, David Theodore, Christine Pendrill, and Meyrick Alexander.
Each of these remarkable individuals has made a significant and lasting impact on the world of double reed playing through performance, teaching, creative enterprise and devoted support of musicians and students.
A full tribute to our four new Honorary Members will appear in the next issue of Double Reed News, the magazine of the British Double Reed Society. We warmly encourage readers to join BDRS so that they can enjoy this feature and keep up to date with news, opportunities and events from across our Society.
